Omg finally!! Like literally, most of my friends spend more than 200 dollars on these birthday parties, and I'm just sitting here like, that money can go to people who have never even gotten food to eat. I understand the whole concept of, "Oh, it's my birthday, I should feel real special today and celebrate it." But not to that extreme. Idk, lots of people disagree though. >.<

Same here. I don't like parties and I think they are unnecessary. I never really celebrated it too, except my super sweet 17th birthday. My parents said they wanted to make my 17th birthday really special so... they did it.

Honestly, I don't know! I never really celebrated my birthdays like other people do, and I don't want to spend so much money on a birthday party. I usually just spend it with my family and we're together and then my church friends and school friends give me presents and wish me happy birthday. But I really don't know for my sweet sixteen >.<
